Religious Books, Publications on Show at Iraq’s Wasit Book Fair

IQNA – The Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine has presented various religious books and publications at a book fair in Iraq’s Wasit Governorate.

The book fair, which is hosted by the Wasit University, is part of programs organized by the Astan of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine on the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA).

The Najaf Seminary and the Astans of the holy shrines of Imam Ali (AS), Hazrat Abbas (AS), Imam Kadhim (AS), Imam Hadi (AS) and Imam Hassan Askari (AS) have cooperated in holding the events.

The programs were launched on Friday, December 8, with the motto “Lady Fatima Zahra (SA), Best Human on Earth”. It will run until December 22.

Sayyed Muhamamd A’raji, who is in charge of the pavilion of the Astan of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine at the book fair said 450 different titles are on display at the pavilion.

They include books on religious, ideological and cultural subjects, he noted.
